What is the Canadian FSWP?

The Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) is points based and qualifies skilled foreign workers for Express Entry to Canada.

Points are based on different factors that include language abilities for French and/or English, work experience, and education/qualifications. In addition, age, adaptability, and a Canadian job offer that qualifies are areas for which points are given. Those who apply for the FSWP must have worked at least one year in the last ten years at a full-time paying job in an occupation that is in high demand.

Become a Canadian is an immigration service that helps foreign nationals who want to move to Canada to live and work. According to Canada’s National Occupational Classification (NOC), this work experience must be categorized as a Skill Type 0 (specific positions in management) and a Skill Level A or B (university degree or specific technical jobs that usually require a college education or specific type of training).

An applicant must have at least 67 out of 100 points to qualify for the FSWP, and there are also character and health requirements that must be met. Contact Become a Canadian today for more information!
